pub struct ImPowerFn;Expand description
Raises a complex number to a real power.
Uses polar form and returns the principal-value result as complex text.
§Remarks
inumberis coerced to complex-number text;nis numerically coerced.- Returns
#NUM!for undefined zero-power cases such as0^0or0^-1. - Invalid complex text returns
#NUM!.
§Examples
title: "Square a complex value"
formula: "=IMPOWER(\"1+i\",2)"
expected: "2i"title: "Negative real exponent"
formula: "=IMPOWER(\"2\",-1)"
expected: "0.5"related:
- IMSQRT
- IMEXP
- IMLN
faq:
- q: "How does `IMPOWER` handle zero base with non-positive exponent?"
a: "`0^0` and `0` raised to a negative exponent are treated as undefined and return `#NUM!`."Trait Implementations§

fn aliases(&self) -> &'static [&'static str]
Optional list of additional alias names (case-insensitive) that should resolve to this
function. Default: empty slice. Implementors can override to expose legacy names.
Returned slice must have ’static lifetime (typically a static array reference).

Optional reference result path. Only called by the interpreter/engine
when the callsite expects a reference (e.g., range combinators, by-ref
argument positions, or spill sources). Read more
