pub struct NowFn;Expand description
Returns the current date and time as a volatile datetime serial.
§Remarks
NOWis volatile and may produce a different value at each recalculation.- The integer part is the current date serial; the fractional part is time of day.
- Serial output respects the active workbook date system (
1900or1904).
§Examples
title: "NOW includes today's date"
formula: "=INT(NOW())=TODAY()"
expected: truetitle: "NOW is at or after TODAY"
formula: "=NOW()>=TODAY()"
expected: truerelated:
- TODAY
- TIME
- SECOND
faq:
- q: "How do I isolate only the time portion from NOW?"
a: "Use NOW()-INT(NOW()); the integer part is date serial and the fractional part is time-of-day."Trait Implementations§

Optional list of additional alias names (case-insensitive) that should resolve to this

Returned slice must have ’static lifetime (typically a static array reference).

Optional reference result path. Only called by the interpreter/engine
when the callsite expects a reference (e.g., range combinators, by-ref
argument positions, or spill sources). Read more
