What preparing a formula does with a reference to a sheet or table that does not exist (#454, docs/preparation-error-policy.md).

Variants

Strict

Preparation fails (“Sheet not found”, “Undefined table”), as before 0.10. Explicit opt-in.

BestEffort

The default. The formula is accepted with the reference unbound (it evaluates to an error) and re-binds when the sheet or table is added, like an undefined name does under either policy.
