ValueError

Enum ValueError

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum ValueError { Missing, Duplicate, Invalid(&'static str), ExpectedFile, ExpectedText, }
Available on crate feature alloc only.
Expand description

Why one field’s value did not convert. form! turns it into FormError::Extract with the field’s name.

§Examples

use form_net::{FromField, ValueError};

let mut slot = <u8 as FromField>::Slot::default();
assert_eq!(u8::accept_text(&mut slot, "300"), Err(ValueError::Invalid("out of range")));

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Missing

A required field is absent.

§

Duplicate

A single-valued field was given twice.

§

Invalid(&'static str)

The value does not convert; the text says why.

§

ExpectedFile

Text was given to a file field.

§

ExpectedText

A file was given to a text field.
