Client

Struct Client

Source
pub struct Client { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A client for the FoPost API.

let client = fopost::Client::new("fp_…")?;
let workspaces = client.workspaces().list().await?;

Cloning is cheap — the underlying connection pool is shared — so pass a Client around rather than building one per request.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Client

Source

pub fn new(api_key: impl Into<String>) -> Result<Self>

A client with the defaults: the production API, a 30 second timeout, and up to three attempts when the rate limiter or a gateway says to back off.

Source

pub fn from_env() -> Result<Self>

A client reading its key from FOPOST_API_KEY.

Source

pub fn builder() -> ClientBuilder

Start configuring a client: base url, timeout, retries, or your own reqwest::Client.

Source

pub fn base_url(&self) -> &str

The base url this client sends to.

Source

pub fn api_key(&self) -> &str

The key this client authenticates with.

Source

pub fn posts(&self) -> Posts<'_>

Posts, publishing, and bulk import.

Source

pub fn accounts(&self) -> Accounts<'_>

Connected social accounts and their health.

Source

pub fn workspaces(&self) -> Workspaces<'_>

Workspaces.

Source

pub fn labels(&self) -> Labels<'_>

Labels.

Source

pub fn webhooks(&self) -> Webhooks<'_>

Webhook subscriptions.

Source

pub fn automations(&self) -> Automations<'_>

Automations and their runs.

Source

pub fn analytics(&self) -> Analytics<'_>

Reporting.

Source

pub fn media(&self) -> Media<'_>

The media library.

Source

pub fn inbox(&self) -> Inbox<'_>

Comments, mentions and direct messages on connected accounts.

Source

pub fn ads(&self) -> Ads<'_>

Boosts, ads, audiences and lead forms on a Meta Ads connection.

Source

pub async fn request<B: Serialize + ?Sized>( &self, method: Method, path: &str, query: Option<Vec<(&'static str, String)>>, body: Option<&B>, ) -> Result<Value>

Call an endpoint the SDK does not wrap yet, with the auth, retries, and error handling every other call gets. Returns the raw JSON body.

let spec = client
    .request(reqwest::Method::GET, "/openapi.json", None, None::<&()>)
    .await?;
