Expand description

Top-level publish: block — the controller’s standing answers for fdl publish, so re-publishing a run is one bare command. Every field mirrors a flag 1:1 and the FLAG WINS when both are given; a -- tail replaces args: outright (even an empty tail, because “explicitly none” must be sayable — the args belong to the RUN).

--no-build has no field here ON PURPOSE: a standing config that silently skips the gate would ship every future typo to the fleet. The escape hatch stays a per-invocation decision.

Fields§

§source: Option<String>

Source to publish, same grammar as join.source.from: (file://, rsync://, git+https://…#<ref>).

§bin: Option<String>

Built artifact, relative to the project directory — what workers run (--bin).

§cwd: Option<String>

Project directory inside the tree (--cwd; default: its root).

§build: Option<String>

Build recipe for the gate, a shell line (--build; default cargo build --release).

§to: Option<String>

Served directory (--to; default ~/.flodl/run).

§identity: Option<String>

Identity file for a source pulled over ssh (--identity).

§args: Vec<String>

The run’s own arguments — what rank children re-enter the binary with. A command-line -- tail replaces this list.
