What the conditional-write probes saw this store do
(conformance.rs). Cached because the probes cost ~10 requests and
a store does not change its mind between two barriers — but keyed by
identity, because a workspace re-pointed at a different endpoint or
bucket is a different store and must be asked again.
probe_version is what makes the cache safe to extend: a build that
asks a NEW question must not read an old verdict as the answer to
it, so a bump invalidates every cached verdict rather than inheriting
a silent pass.
Fields§
§identity: String§probe_version: u32§answered: boolWhether the probe got an ANSWER at all. False means it could not write its own object — a credential, a policy, the network — and the two flags below say nothing. Never cached false: an outage must not become this workspace’s standing verdict.
conditional_put: boolIf-None-Match:* and If-Match on PUT — the manifest CAS, the
upload gate, the lease cell. Nothing works without it.
conditional_delete: boolIf-Match on DELETE — the file collector, and only it.
detail: Option<String>What the failing probe said, for the operator message.
