Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

offset: u64

Byte offset of the preview data in the file.

length: u64

Length of the preview data in bytes.

width: u32

Width in pixels as stored (before orientation); 0 if unknown.

height: u32

Height in pixels as stored (before orientation); 0 if unknown.

encoding: PreviewEncoding

How the preview bytes are encoded.

orientation: Orientation

Orientation to apply to the preview’s stored pixels: usually the file orientation. Where vendor orientation records are resolved (Canon CR2, Nikon, Kodak) it is resolved per preview: a preview carrying its own EXIF orientation uses it, and a preview that was rendered already rotated is Normal even when the RAW image is not.

kind: PreviewKind

What the container labels this image as.
