Runtime configuration for same-host rendezvous over loopback UDP.

LocalInstanceDiscoveryConfig is retained as the public configuration name for compatibility. It no longer describes filesystem discovery.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

enabled: bool

Participate in same-host rendezvous. Disabled generic nodes neither bind the fixed anchor address nor connect to it.

rendezvous_addr: SocketAddrV4

Fixed IPv4 loopback address. This is configurable so isolated tests can use distinct ports; production callers should keep the default.

retry_interval_ms: u64

Delay between attempts to contact or bind the sticky anchor.
