Expand description

The broad category a FileFormat belongs to.

Every file format is classified into exactly one kind, such as Image, Audio, Document, and so on. Use FileFormat::kind to retrieve it, or FileFormat::from_kind to list all formats in a given category.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
