Expand description

Static HDR metadata written with an HDR deliverable: the SMPTE ST 2086 mastering display and the CTA-861.3 content light levels (HEVC SEI, and mdcv / clli in MP4 and MOV).

Fields§

§primaries: [[f64; 2]; 4]

Mastering display red, green, blue and white (CIE 1931 xy).

§max_luminance: f64

Mastering display peak and black, cd/m².

§min_luminance: f64§max_cll: u32

MaxCLL and MaxFALL, cd/m² (0: unknown).

§max_fall: u32

Implementations§

Source§

impl HdrMetadata

Source

pub const P3_D65_1000: HdrMetadata

The common HDR10 grading target: a P3-D65 display, 1000 cd/m² peak, 0.0001 black, MaxCLL 1000 (the encoder can’t measure the content first), MaxFALL 400.

Source

pub fn with_peak(self, nits: f64) -> HdrMetadata

With a different peak (and MaxCLL capped to it).
