Explicit synchronous patch boundaries and conservative source admission. A supervisor must validate the entire build input set, not just a changed function.
Modules§
- inputs
- Capture explicit build-input trees before admission, and stage their exact bytes.
- restart
- Process restart is a two-phase operation: successful build, then acknowledged startup.
Pump this supervisor off the UI thread. Capture application state on the UI thread only
after
poll_buildreturns a ticket, and pass that snapshot tolaunch.
Structs§
- Admitted
Patch - Function
Registration - A stable application declaration, supplied when its patch supervisor starts. Changing registrations is a build-input change and requires process replacement.
- Jump
Table - Patch
Supervisor - A snapshot includes every Rust source, manifest, lockfile, build script, and configuration input. Source bytes must come from the exact build that produced the running executable.
Enums§
Functions§
- admit
- Only top-level, registered, synchronous free-function bodies may change. Signatures, attributes and every other token must remain identical. Unknown syntax fails closed.
- hot_
reloadable - Invoke at the callback boundary, each time the callback runs.
- hot_
reloadable_ with - Invoke a registered synchronous function with a handler or command argument. Pass a tuple for multiple arguments. Call this at every invocation of the existing subscription; the function pointer is resolved through the current patch table each time. Argument and return types must live in stable code. This does not admit a function or rebuild its view: the owning supervisor still validates the complete source revision before installing a patch.
