TypeSystem

Enum TypeSystem

Source
pub enum TypeSystem {
    Runtime,
    Model,
}
Expand description

The type system the documents of a build are compiled against (Build::type_system).

Variants§

§

Runtime

The run-time type system: the types the build script registered in its process. The script links the crates whose types its documents name, and cannot compile a document that names a type of the crate it builds. Only with the feature runtime-host of this crate, which links the XAML runtime library and the controls; without it a build that compiles documents against this type system fails with an error that says so.

§

Model

The build-time type system over the type models (docs/porting/xaml.md, 9.5): the model of the crate, scanned from its sources, and the models of the crates it depends on, read from their .xamlmeta. The script links no crate for its types and compiles the documents of the classes of the crate (XamlGroup::class_document).
