FerroPropertyAccessor

Struct FerroPropertyAccessor

Source
pub struct FerroPropertyAccessor { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The accessor of a registered property of an object of the class hierarchy: reads and writes the property and follows its changes.

Implementations§

Source§

impl FerroPropertyAccessor

Source

pub fn new( reference: Option<WeakRef<FerroObject>>, property: &'static FerroProperty, ) -> Rc<dyn IPropertyAccessor>

Creates an accessor for property of the object behind reference. None is a reference without a target (the weak reference to null of the managed original): such an accessor has no value.

Source

pub fn instance(&self) -> Option<Ref<FerroObject>>

The object the accessor reads from, if it is still alive.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl Drop for FerroPropertyAccessor

Source§

fn drop(&mut self)

Executes the destructor for this type. Read more
Source§

fn pin_drop(self: Pin<&mut Self>)

🔬This is a nightly-only experimental API. (pin_ergonomics)
Execute the destructor for this type, but different to Drop::drop, it requires self to be pinned. Read more

impl IDisposable for FerroPropertyAccessor

Source§

fn dispose(&self)

Source§

impl IPropertyAccessor for FerroPropertyAccessor

Source§

fn property_type(&self) -> Option<ValueType>

The type of the property, or None if the accessor is in an error state.
Source§

fn value(&self) -> Option<BoxedValue>

The current value of the property.
Source§

fn set_value( &self, value: Option<&BoxedValue>, priority: BindingPriority, ) -> Result<bool, BindingError>

Sets the property value. Returns Ok(false) if the property cannot be written; an Err is the equivalent of the setter throwing.
Source§

fn subscribe(&self, listener: AccessorListener)

Subscribes to the value of the member. The listener is invoked with the current value and with each new value.
Source§

fn unsubscribe(&self)

Stops the subscription.
