#[non_exhaustive]pub struct DistributedCheckpoint {
pub checkpoint_dir: PathBuf,
pub shard_metadata: ShardMetadata,
}Expand description
Handle for a distributed checkpoint directory.
Wraps the directory path and the shard metadata. Typically created by
save_distributed (which writes files) or by reading an existing
checkpoint’s metadata.json.
Marked #[non_exhaustive] for forward-compatible additions
(e.g., async-write handles, optimizer-state cache).
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.checkpoint_dir: PathBufDirectory where shard files are stored.
shard_metadata: ShardMetadataMetadata about how tensors are sharded across ranks.
