Expand description

Operational work behind one one-shot report.

This is deliberately separate from Report: it is transient CLI telemetry, not part of the stable machine-report schema or the pure query result.

Fields§

§walked_files: u64

Regular files whose metadata was observed during this run.

§walked_bytes: u64

Apparent bytes represented by those walked files.

§walked_allocated: u64

Allocated bytes of those walked files, the figure to show beside an answer measured in allocated bytes.

§fresh_files: u64

Fresh content-analysis candidates processed.

§bytes_read: u64

Bytes actually returned by fresh content reads.

§analysis_ns: u64

Wall time spent processing fresh analysis candidates.

§cached_files: u64

Content-analysis records restored from the sidecar.

§cached_bytes: u64

Apparent bytes represented by restored content records.

§source: ReportSource

Metadata cache tier used for this report.

Implementations§

Source§

impl PerformanceSummary

Source

pub fn total_throughput(self, elapsed: Duration, size: SizeMetric) -> String

Total metadata throughput over the same elapsed sample as the report duration. GiB/s represents walked size, not storage read bandwidth.
