RetryContext

Struct RetryContext

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct RetryContext { pub run_id: usize, pub run_seed: u64, pub seed: u64, pub bounds: RetryBounds, pub guess: Option<Vec<f64>>, pub sdev: Vec<f64>, pub max_evaluations: u64, pub value_limit: f64, pub crossover: bool, }
Expand description

Inputs for one independent optimizer run.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§run_id: usize

Zero-based retry identifier.

§run_seed: u64

Seed derived only from the campaign root seed and run_id.

Unlike seed, this value is independent of worker count, scheduling, and the number of earlier runs completed by a worker. Use it when a retry must be reproducible across concurrency configurations.

§seed: u64

Independent seed assigned from the worker’s persistent stream.

This preserves the original scheduling-dependent retry behavior. New reproducible campaigns should normally use run_seed.

§bounds: RetryBounds

Bounds selected for this retry.

§guess: Option<Vec<f64>>

Optional initial point, including coordinated crossover points.

§sdev: Vec<f64>

Suggested initial per-coordinate search deviations.

§max_evaluations: u64

Evaluation budget assigned to this retry.

§value_limit: f64

A crossover result is retained only when it improves this parent.

§crossover: bool

Whether this context was produced by coordinated crossover.
