Variants

Any

{name} — matches one host segment (no dot): [^.]+.

Int

{name:int} — matches \d+.

Slug

{name:slug} — matches [a-z0-9-]+.

Multi

{name:multi} — matches one or more dot-separated segments. Use for DNS-passthrough patterns (e.g. {upstream:multi}.fbi.com capturing github.com as one value).
