pub struct MssqlSource { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Microsoft SQL Server query source.
Implementations§
Source§impl MssqlSource
impl MssqlSource
Sourcepub async fn new(config: MssqlSourceConfig) -> Result<Self, FaucetError>
pub async fn new(config: MssqlSourceConfig) -> Result<Self, FaucetError>
Connect, validate the config, and build the connection pool.
Trait Implementations§

Source§fn discover<'life0, 'async_trait>(
&'life0 self,
) -> Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<Vec<DatasetDescriptor>, FaucetError>> + Send + 'async_trait>>where
Self: 'async_trait,
'life0: 'async_trait,
fn discover<'life0, 'async_trait>(
&'life0 self,
) -> Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<Vec<DatasetDescriptor>, FaucetError>> + Send + 'async_trait>>where
Self: 'async_trait,
'life0: 'async_trait,
Enumerate every base table visible to the connection, with column
types from INFORMATION_SCHEMA.COLUMNS and a row estimate from
sys.partitions (catalog metadata only — no data scan). The estimate
query degrades gracefully: when the sys.* views aren’t readable
(permissions), tables are returned without estimates rather than
failing discovery.
Source§fn is_shardable(&self) -> bool
fn is_shardable(&self) -> bool
Shardable when a ShardConfig is set.
Source§fn enumerate_shards<'life0, 'async_trait>(
&'life0 self,
target: usize,
) -> Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<Vec<ShardSpec>, FaucetError>> + Send + 'async_trait>>where
Self: 'async_trait,
'life0: 'async_trait,
fn enumerate_shards<'life0, 'async_trait>(
&'life0 self,
target: usize,
) -> Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<Vec<ShardSpec>, FaucetError>> + Send + 'async_trait>>where
Self: 'async_trait,
'life0: 'async_trait,
Enumerate contiguous primary-key range shards by computing the key
column’s MIN/MAX over the (unsharded) base query and splitting that
range into ~target slices. Returns a single whole-dataset shard when no
shard config is set or the result set is empty.
The base query is resolved through the same query builder as a normal
fetch first, so a @bookmark token (incremental replication) is bound
rather than left dangling — bounds are then computed over the
not-yet-synced slice, which is exactly the data the shards will read.
Source§fn apply_shard<'life0, 'life1, 'async_trait>(
&'life0 self,
shard: &'life1 ShardSpec,
) -> Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<(), FaucetError>> + Send + 'async_trait>>where
Self: 'async_trait,
'life0: 'async_trait,
'life1: 'async_trait,
fn apply_shard<'life0, 'life1, 'async_trait>(
&'life0 self,
shard: &'life1 ShardSpec,
) -> Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<(), FaucetError>> + Send + 'async_trait>>where
Self: 'async_trait,
'life0: 'async_trait,
'life1: 'async_trait,
Narrow this source to a single PK-range shard. The whole-dataset shard clears any applied range (streams the full query).

fn config_schema(&self) -> Value
Source§fn connector_name(&self) -> &'static str
fn connector_name(&self) -> &'static str
connector label on metrics and the
connector attribute on spans. Defaults to the final segment of
std::any::type_name::<Self>(), e.g. "RestSource". Built-in
connectors override with a short, friendly snake_case name (e.g.
"rest"). Must return a non-empty string; observability decorators
fall back to "unknown" in release builds if it is empty (and
debug_assert! in debug builds).Source§fn dataset_uri(&self) -> String
