pub struct Normalizer {
pub float_tolerance: f64,
pub timestamps: bool,
pub numeric_strings: bool,
}Expand description
How values are canonicalised before hashing and comparing, so two backends’ spellings of the same value agree.
Fields§
§float_tolerance: f64Round floats to this absolute tolerance before comparing (0 = exact).
timestamps: boolParse strings that look like timestamps (RFC 3339, or
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS[.fff]) and compare them as UTC microseconds.
numeric_strings: boolTreat a string holding a number ("42", "1.5") as that number.
Implementations§
Source§impl Normalizer
impl Normalizer
Sourcepub fn validate(&self) -> Result<(), FaucetError>
pub fn validate(&self) -> Result<(), FaucetError>
Fail-fast validation: a finite, non-negative tolerance.
