pub struct PartialRetrySpec {
pub max_attempts: usize,
pub initial_backoff_ms: u64,
pub max_backoff_ms: u64,
}Expand description
Per-record retry budget for a sink whose bulk API reports partial failures (#654 M20).
AWS batch APIs (PutRecords, SendMessageBatch) return a 200 whose body
marks individual entries as failed; the sink retries just those entries with
jittered exponential backoff. The three knobs that describe it used to sit
flat and byte-identical in two connector configs, beside unrelated sizing
keys — one block, one definition, per Principle 4.
Fields§
§max_attempts: usizeAttempts per record before it is reported failed (DLQ-routable).
Default 5; 1 means “no retry”.
initial_backoff_ms: u64First backoff, in milliseconds. Doubles per attempt, jittered by the
shared apply_jitter. Default 100.
max_backoff_ms: u64Backoff ceiling in milliseconds, applied before jitter. Default 30000.
