pub enum Emit {
Nothing,
Part(Vec<u8>),
Object(CompletedObject),
}Expand description
What a push produced.
Three outcomes rather than an Option, because “a part is ready to upload”
and “the object is finished” are different instructions to the sink: the
first frees memory mid-object, the second closes it.
Variants§
Nothing
Keep accumulating.
Part(Vec<u8>)
A multipart part is full. Upload it and drop it — this is what keeps peak memory at O(part size) instead of O(object size) when the object cap is large or unset.
Object(CompletedObject)
The object reached its record/byte cap.
