A { type, config } block, the universal shape for both sources and sinks.

Source templates may additionally carry transforms: and inherit_transforms:. Both are rejected on sink templates at expand time.

Fields

kind: String

Connector type — matches the suffix of the underlying crate (e.g. rest for faucet-source-rest).

config: Value

Connector-specific config object. Passed through verbatim to the connector’s serde::Deserialize impl.

transforms: Option<Vec<TransformSpec>>

Transforms bound to this source template. Applied after T_pipeline and before T_row for every matrix row that resolves to this template. Rejected at expand time when this ConnectorSpec is used as a sink.

inherit_transforms: bool

When false, drops upstream T_pipeline transforms for every matrix row that resolves to this source template. Default true. Rejected at expand time on sinks.
