Struct OrphanProvenanceReport

Source
pub struct OrphanProvenanceReport {
    pub sources: Vec<OrphanProvenanceSource>,
    pub total_rows: u64,
    pub unerasable_rows: u64,
}
Expand description

Result of [Engine::orphan_provenance] — the per-source_id census behind fathomdb doctor orphan-provenance (design §4 item 11).

unerasable_rows is the load-bearing field: canonical rows carrying NEITHER a source_id NOR a logical_id. Such a row is reachable by no erasure verb at all — purge keys on logical_id, erase_source keys on source_id — so it can never be deleted on request. Slice 5c made that state unwritable and migration step 21 back-filled the historical cases, so a non-zero count means the invariant has been violated and the verb exits DOCTOR_FOUND_ISSUES.

Fields§

§sources: Vec<OrphanProvenanceSource>

Per-source_id buckets, ordered by descending rows then source_id so the output is deterministic (a diagnostic that reorders between runs cannot be diffed).

§total_rows: u64

Total canonical rows surveyed.

§unerasable_rows: u64

Rows with NO source_id AND NO logical_id — un-erasable by any verb.
