Expand description

Why a text search for an export name does not find the uses in a consumer, or why a consumer is not a search target (pass-through).

Variants§

§

ImportAlias

The consumer imports the export under another local name (import { foo as bar }).

§

DefaultImport

The consumer imports a default export under another local name.

§

ReExportAlias

A barrel re-exports the export under another name, and the consumer imports that name.

§

NamespaceUse

The consumer imports the whole module namespace and does not name the export.

§

DynamicImport

The consumer loads the module with a dynamic import() and does not name the export.

§

PassThrough

The consumer only forwards the export and does not use it: a barrel (export * from, export { foo } from), or a file that imports the export and only exports it again (import { foo } from, then a top-level export { foo }). A change of the export needs no edit there, and the files that import through it are checked on their own. Occurs with found.
