Failure while editing a fallow config file in place (fallow fix config actions such as appending ignoreExports entries).

Variants

Io(Error)

Reading or writing the config file failed.

JsonParse(ParseError)

The existing JSON/JSONC config could not be parsed, so an edit cannot be applied without risking data loss.

TomlParse(TomlError)

The existing TOML config could not be parsed.

InvalidShape(String)

The config parsed but a key has a shape the writer cannot edit (e.g. a non-object root, or ignoreExports that is not an array). The message describes the expected shape.
