An AMI (machine image).
Fields§
§image_id: String§name: String§description: String§state: Stringpending | available | disabled | deregistered.
architecture: String§public: bool§source_instance_id: Option<String>§in_recycle_bin: bool§deprecation_time: Option<String>§deregistration_protection: bool§launch_permission_users: Vec<String>launchPermission — AWS account ids the AMI is explicitly shared with
(cross-account share via ModifyImageAttribute).
launch_permission_groups: Vec<String>launchPermission groups — only all is valid in AWS (public share).
boot_mode: Option<String>bootMode — legacy-bios | uefi | uefi-preferred. None reports
the default uefi; settable via ModifyImageAttribute.
owner_id: Option<String>imageOwnerId — the AWS account that owns the AMI. None reports the
requesting account (a user-registered AMI is owned by its creator); the
seeded public AMIs set this to the real Amazon/Canonical/etc. owner so
aws_ami data sources filtering by owners/owner-id resolve them.
owner_alias: Option<String>imageOwnerAlias — amazon | aws-marketplace | self etc. Set on the
seeded public AMIs so owner-alias filters and owners = ["amazon"]
resolve them; None for user-registered AMIs.
creation_date: Option<String>creationDate. None reports the fixed fallback; the seeded catalogue
sets distinct dates so Terraform’s most_recent = true ordering is
deterministic.
root_device_name: Option<String>rootDeviceName (e.g. /dev/xvda for Linux, /dev/sda1 for Windows).
None reports the Linux default.
platform: Option<String>platformDetails / Windows platform. None = Linux/UNIX.
