VUuid

Struct VUuid

Source
pub struct VUuid(/* private fields */);
Expand description

A 128-bit universally unique identifier (UUID).

VUuid stores UUIDs in their native 128-bit form rather than as 36-character strings, preserving semantic identity while being more memory-efficient.

Implementations§

Source§

impl VUuid

Source

pub fn new(bytes: [u8; 16]) -> Self

Creates a new UUID from 16 bytes (big-endian).

Source

pub fn from_u64_pair(high: u64, low: u64) -> Self

Creates a new UUID from two 64-bit integers (high and low parts).

Source

pub fn from_u128(value: u128) -> Self

Creates a new UUID from a u128.

Source

pub fn as_bytes(&self) -> &[u8; 16]

Returns the UUID as 16 bytes (big-endian).

Source

pub fn as_u128(&self) -> u128

Returns the UUID as a u128.

Source

pub fn high(&self) -> u64

Returns the high 64 bits of the UUID.

Source

pub fn low(&self) -> u64

Returns the low 64 bits of the UUID.
