Enum DecodeError

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum DecodeError { UnexpectedType, InsufficientData, InvalidData, UnknownField(String), MissingField(String), IntegerOverflow, UnsupportedShape(String), UnsupportedType(String), }
Expand description

Errors that can occur during MessagePack encoding/decoding operations

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

UnexpectedType

Encountered a MessagePack type that doesn’t match the expected type

§

InsufficientData

Not enough data available to decode a complete MessagePack value

§

InvalidData

The MessagePack data is malformed or corrupted

§

UnknownField(String)

Encountered a field name that isn’t recognized

§

MissingField(String)

Required field is missing from the input

§

IntegerOverflow

Integer value is too large for the target type

§

UnsupportedShape(String)

Shape is not supported for deserialization

§

UnsupportedType(String)

Type is not supported for deserialization
