The output channel layout for SampleExtractor.

Selecting a value inserts a downmix into the resample stage (aformat=channel_layouts=…, backed by swr); leaving it unset preserves the source layout. ASR models such as whisper want Mono.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

One channel. Stereo (and higher) sources are downmixed to mono.

Two channels, interleaved as L R.
