Snapshot of a stopped acquisition.

Inspection never cleans scratch files, rewrites records, rehashes media, or publishes output. It takes the same output lock as a writer; close an active writer first or use its live getters.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

source_size: u64

Declared full source size.

checkpoint_bytes: u64

Offset at which source input must continue after resume.

chunk_size: u64

Logical bytes per chunk.

sealed_segments: usize

Number of sealed native segments.

stored_bytes: u64

Combined encoded size of sealed segments, excluding scratch and records.

ready_to_finish: bool

All declared source bytes are sealed and the final EWF marker is present.

publication_started: bool

Publication has started; some output links may already exist.

segment_hashes_validated: bool

Every sealed file was checked against its recorded SHA256 in this call. False for metadata-only inspection; true for validate_checkpoint.

acquisition_errors: Vec<AcquisitionError>

Normalized substituted-sector ranges wholly inside the sealed prefix.

substituted_sectors: u64

Number of substituted sectors in the sealed prefix.
