Treatment of a sector that remains unreadable after its retries.

Variants§

Stop

Stop without substituting data. Successfully accepted input is retained.

§

ZeroFill

Write a zero sector and record an acquisition-error range in the EWF. EOF, seek, permission, configuration, timeout, and interrupted-operation errors always stop; they are never converted to apparently acquired data.
