Variants

Auto

Prefer the default compiled transport.

With the default reactive-ws feature this resolves to pubsub/WebSocket subscriptions. Without reactive-ws, it resolves to polling only when the opt-in reactive-polling feature is enabled.

PubSub

Use provider pubsub streams.

Polling

Use polling/watch APIs. Requires the reactive-polling feature.
