UseStorage

Struct UseStorage

Source
pub struct UseStorage {
    pub key: &'static str,
    pub value: Signal<String>,
    pub kind: UseStorageKind,
}
Expand description

Reactive state for one stored value.

The handle carries the key it watches, the current value, and the kind of storage it lives in.

The value is a Signal<String>: a render closure that reads it re-renders when the value changes, and nothing else in the tree is disturbed.

Fields§

§key: &'static str

The storage key this handle watches.

§value: Signal<String>

The current stored value.

§kind: UseStorageKind

Which storage the value lives in.

Implementations§

Source§

impl UseStorage

Inherent implementation of UseStorage.

Source

pub fn current(&self) -> String

Returns the current value as a snapshot.

§Returns
  • String - The stored value.
Source

pub fn set_value(&self, value: &str)

Writes value to storage and updates the signal.

§Arguments
  • &str - The value to store.
Source

pub fn clear(&self)

Removes the key from storage and clears the signal.

Source§

impl UseStorage

Source

pub fn get_key(&self) -> &'static str

Source

pub fn get_mut_key(&mut self) -> &mut &'static str

Source

pub fn set_key(&mut self, val: &'static str) -> &mut Self

Source

pub fn get_value(&self) -> Signal<String>

Source

pub fn get_mut_value(&mut self) -> &mut Signal<String>

Source

pub fn get_kind(&self) -> UseStorageKind

Source

impl Debug for UseStorage

Source§

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Formats the struct fields as a debug struct, skipping excluded fields.

§Arguments
  • &mut std::fmt::Formatter<'_> - The formatter to write the representation into.
§Returns
  • std::fmt::Result - Success or failure of the formatting operation.
