Covers all failure modes including I/O errors, server errors, HTML generation errors, and general application errors.

Variants§

§

Io

An I/O error with additional context about the operation.

Fields

§message: String

A human-readable description of the failed I/O operation.

§error: Error

The underlying I/O error.

§

IoPath

An I/O error with path context.

Fields

§message: String

A human-readable description of the failed I/O operation.

§path: PathBuf

The file or directory path involved in the I/O operation.

§error: Error

The underlying I/O error.

§

Utf8

A UTF-8 decoding error.

Fields

§message: String

A human-readable description of the UTF-8 decoding failure.

§error: FromUtf8Error

The underlying UTF-8 error.

§

Server(String)

A server error from the hyperlane framework.

§

Message(String)

A general application error with a descriptive message.

§

Watch(Error)

A file watcher (notify) error.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl Debug for EuvError

Source§

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Formats the value using the given formatter. Read more
Source§

impl Display for EuvError

Implements Display for EuvError to provide human-readable error messages.

Source§

fn fmt(&self, formatter: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Formats the error message based on the variant.

§Arguments
  • &mut std::fmt::Formatter - The formatter.
§Returns
  • std::fmt::Result - The result of the formatting operation.
Source§

impl Error for EuvError

Implements Error for EuvError so it integrates with the Rust error ecosystem.

Source§

fn source(&self) -> Option<&(dyn Error + 'static)>

Returns the lower-level source of this error, if any.

§Returns
  • Option<&(dyn std::error::Error + 'static)> - The underlying error source.
1.0.0 · Source§

fn description(&self) -> &str

👎Deprecated since 1.42.0:

use the Display impl or to_string()

1.0.0 · Source§

fn cause(&self) -> Option<&dyn Error>

👎Deprecated since 1.33.0:

replaced by Error::source, which can support downcasting

Source§

fn provide<'a>(&'a self, request: &mut Request<'a>)

🔬This is a nightly-only experimental API. (error_generic_member_access)
Provides type-based access to context intended for error reports. Read more
Source§

impl From<Error> for EuvError

Implements From<notify::Error> for EuvError to enable ? operator conversion.

Source§

fn from(error: Error) -> Self

Converts a notify::Error into EuvError::Watch.

§Arguments
  • notify::Error - The file watcher error to convert.
§Returns
  • EuvError - The converted Watch variant.
