MapRegistry

Struct MapRegistry

Source
pub struct MapRegistry {
    pub maps: BTreeMap<String, MapData>,
}
Expand description

The maps a chart can draw.

The registry is what turns a map series into a picture: the series names the map it wants, and the registry holds the geometry. The geometry is kept out of the option on purpose — a map of a country is megabytes of coordinates, and it is the same for every chart that draws it.

Fields§

§maps: BTreeMap<String, MapData>

The maps of the registry, by name.

Implementations§

Source§

impl MapRegistry

Inherent implementation of MapRegistry.

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Returns an empty registry.

Source

pub fn register(&mut self, data: MapData) -> &mut Self

Adds a map to the registry, replacing the one of the same name.

§Arguments
  • MapData - A MapData parameter.
§Returns
  • &mut Self - A mut Self value.
Source

pub fn register_geojson( &mut self, name: &str, value: &DataValue, ) -> Result<&mut Self, GeoError>

Reads a GeoJSON document and adds the map it holds.

§Arguments
  • &str - Shared reference to a str.
  • &DataValue - Shared reference to a DataValue.
§Returns
  • Result<&mut Self, GeoError> - Result of the operation; an Err variant on failure.
Source

pub fn get(&self, name: &str) -> Option<&MapData>

Returns the map with the given name.

§Arguments
  • &str - Shared reference to a str.
§Returns
  • Option<&MapData> - Some(...) on success, None otherwise.
Source

pub fn names(&self) -> Vec<String>

Returns the names of the maps of the registry.

§Returns
  • Vec<String> - A Vec<String> value.
Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

Returns the number of maps in the registry.

§Returns
  • usize - A non-negative integer.
Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Returns true when the registry holds no map.

§Returns
  • bool - A boolean.
Source

pub fn clear(&mut self)

Removes every map from the registry.

Source§

impl MapRegistry

Source

pub fn get_maps(&self) -> &BTreeMap<String, MapData>

Source

pub fn get_mut_maps(&mut self) -> &mut BTreeMap<String, MapData>

Source

pub fn set_maps(&mut self, val: BTreeMap<String, MapData>) -> &mut Self
