VariantPath

Struct VariantPath

Source
pub struct VariantPath(/* private fields */);
Expand description

A path through nested union variants (e.g., “ok.some.left” -> [ok, some, left]).

Used for parsing and validating nested unions with $variant extension.

Implementations§

Source§

impl VariantPath

Source

pub fn new(segments: Vec<Identifier>) -> VariantPath

Create a new VariantPath from a vector of identifiers.

Source

pub fn empty() -> VariantPath

Create an empty variant path.

Source

pub fn parse(s: &str) -> Result<VariantPath, IdentifierError>

Parse a variant path from a dotted string (e.g., “ok.some.left”).

Source

pub fn first(&self) -> Option<&Identifier>

Get the first segment.

Source

pub fn rest(&self) -> Option<VariantPath>

Get the remaining path after the first segment.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Check if the path is empty.

Source

pub fn is_single(&self) -> bool

Check if this is a single-segment path.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

Get the number of segments in the path.

Source

pub fn segments(&self) -> &[Identifier]

Get the segments as a slice.
