pub struct InitcodeBuffer { /* private fields */ }Expand description
The allocations an initcode Code is built in: its bytecode buffer and its
jump-destination bitmap. A finished initcode hands them back through
Code::into_initcode_buffer, so the VM can keep them for the next CREATE instead of
allocating new ones each time, which a zkVM guest’s bump allocator never reclaims.
Implementations§
Source§impl InitcodeBuffer
impl InitcodeBuffer
Sourcepub fn set(&mut self, initcode: &[u8])
pub fn set(&mut self, initcode: &[u8])
Replaces the contents with initcode, with room for the padding
Code::from_initcode_buffer appends, so that appending it does not reallocate.
Sourcepub fn capacity(&self) -> usize
pub fn capacity(&self) -> usize
How many bytes of initcode and padding the buffer holds without reallocating.
Sourcepub fn is_allocated(&self) -> bool
pub fn is_allocated(&self) -> bool
Whether the buffer holds any allocation worth keeping.
