PrimitiveRlpError

Enum PrimitiveRlpError

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum PrimitiveRlpError { Decode(DecodeError), Primitive(PrimitiveError), FixedWidthScalar { expected: usize, found: usize, }, }
Expand description

Primitive RLP bridge failures.

This enum is #[non_exhaustive]. New variants may be added in minor releases. Downstream wildcard match arms can silently handle new failure categories, so security monitors should re-audit wildcard arms when this type changes.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Decode(DecodeError)

The underlying bounded RLP codec rejected the input or output buffer.

§

Primitive(PrimitiveError)

The decoded payload did not fit the target primitive domain.

§

FixedWidthScalar

A fixed-width primitive was encoded with the wrong scalar byte length.

Fields

§expected: usize

Required scalar payload width for the target primitive.

§found: usize

Actual decoded scalar payload width.
