The vim key layer lives in escriba_keymap::pipeline — one implementation every app drives. Re-exported so the gate in tests/operand_capture_order.rs keeps its spelling. A character search: which character, which direction, and whether it stops ON it (f/F) or just BEFORE it (t/T).

The same value serves the pending operand and the ;/, memory (KeyPipeline::last_find), so the thing repeated is the thing that ran.
