Expand description

view/translate: the terminal view of an agent. The core reads what the harness’s own interface writes (its transcript, its rollout, its journal) and hands it on here a line at a time, what it holds of the agent beside it; the plugin answers the items. The core keeps the terminal, the file and the agent’s state; the plugin, what the lines mean.

A line is what the file holds, or a note of the core, an object with a field escouade:

  • {"escouade":"end","error":…,"durationMs":…,"models":…}: the running turn is over, for a reason the core knows (its interface gone, a hook, what Item::ViewEnd asked): the plugin answers its Item::Turn;
  • {"escouade":"hook","hook":…}: a hook of the interface that says what the file does not;
  • {"escouade":"frame","frame":…}: a message of the harness, read as a process’s (a recorded stream).

Fields§

§agent: String

The view, by a key of its own: another one is another conversation, which starts from nothing.

§harness: String

The harness, for a plugin that has several.

§fresh: bool

The first lines of this view: known is given, and gone, the view it replaces, may be dropped.

§known: Vec<ViewKnown>§gone: Option<String>§cwd: String§mode: String§model: String§lang: String

The language of the app.

§main_model: String

The model the agent last ran on.

§session: Option<String>§active: bool

A turn runs.

§interrupted: bool

The user stopped it.

§copy: bool

The agent is a copy, its session not its own yet.

§discussion: bool

A discussion of the Docs tab: it writes nothing.

§prompt: Option<String>

The message of the turn under way, as the interface took it.

§lines: Vec<String>
