PartitionCommunicationAuthority

Struct PartitionCommunicationAuthority

Source
pub struct PartitionCommunicationAuthority { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Cloneable bounded-completion and poison authority for one selected communication session.

Backend-owned operations adjacent to the neutral partition driver must retain this authority instead of a bare native group. Every clone observes the first terminal communication failure and fails before later submission.

Implementations§

Source§

impl PartitionCommunicationAuthority

Source

pub fn from_manifest( manifest: &CommunicationManifest, ) -> Result<Self, PartitionExecutionError>

Creates the poison and bounded-completion authority selected by one manifest.

Source

pub fn ensure_active(&self) -> Result<(), PartitionExecutionError>

Rejects work after any submission, completion, cancellation, or deadline failure.

Source

pub const fn completion_policy(&self) -> Option<CommunicationCompletionPolicy>

Returns the bounded completion policy selected by the communication manifest.

Source

pub fn submission_error( &self, error: impl Display, operation: CommunicationOperation, phase: DistributedExecutionPhase, route: Option<CommunicationRouteId>, ) -> PartitionExecutionError

Records a native submission failure after preflight admission succeeded.

Source

pub fn completion_error( &self, error: impl Display, operation: CommunicationOperation, phase: DistributedExecutionPhase, route: Option<CommunicationRouteId>, ) -> PartitionExecutionError

Records an exact native completion failure in the shared poison domain.

Source

pub fn wait<T, C>( &self, submission: Submission<T, C>, operation: CommunicationOperation, phase: DistributedExecutionPhase, route: Option<CommunicationRouteId>, ) -> Result<T, PartitionExecutionError>

Waits under the selected bound and permanently poisons this session on failure.
