ArrayBuffer

Enum ArrayBuffer

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum ArrayBuffer<'a> { F64(&'a mut [f64]), F32(&'a mut [f32]), I64(&'a mut [i64]), I32(&'a mut [i32]), U64(&'a mut [u64]), U32(&'a mut [u32]), U8(&'a mut [u8]), }
Expand description

A buffer the caller owns, for a backend to decode straight into.

The zero-allocation path: an application that already holds the memory the numbers must end up in - a vertex buffer, a mapped file, a slice of a larger block - passes it here and the file is read directly into it. Nothing is allocated, nothing is copied afterwards.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

F64(&'a mut [f64])

Doubles.

§

F32(&'a mut [f32])

Floats.

§

I64(&'a mut [i64])

Implementations§

Source§

impl ArrayBuffer<'_>

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

How many elements it can take.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Whether it can take none.

Source

pub fn element_type(&self) -> &'static str
