Everything needed to author one product archive. Deliberately independent of the embala config types so the crate is usable on its own.

Fields

name: String

Package name; names the artifact and the inner <name>.pkg component.

display_name: String

Human name: the Distribution <title> Installer.app displays.

identifier: String

Reverse-DNS package identifier (pkgutil receipt id).

version: String

install_location: String

Absolute path the payload tree installs under (e.g. /usr/local).

enable_user_home: bool

Adds enable_currentUserHome to the Distribution’s <domains> so installer -target CurrentUserHomeDirectory is legal (the sudo-free install path).

files: Vec<FileSpec>

directories: Vec<DirSpec>

scripts: Option<PathBuf>

Directory packed as the component’s Scripts archive, like pkgbuild --scripts: every file ships (helpers included), and a top-level preinstall/postinstall is referenced from PackageInfo.
