Configuration for a downstream MCP tool server spawned over stdio.

Each entry describes a subprocess that speaks the Model Context Protocol. The server connects to it as an MCP client, discovers its tools, and routes tool calls to it during server-side agent execution.

Fields

name: String

Logical name for this server (used in logs and tool routing diagnostics)

command: String

Executable to spawn (e.g. npx, uvx, or an absolute path)

args: Vec<String>

Arguments passed to the command

env: HashMap<String, String>

Environment variables to set for the spawned process
