The permission intent to apply to a staged member.

Staged output is always owner-private (0600, or 0700 when executable). Preserve maps an executable source to 0700 and anything else to 0600; broad source modes are never inherited.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Retain executable intent privately where the platform exposes it.

Executable

Mark the staged member executable where the platform exposes executable bits.
