FailureCategory

Enum FailureCategory

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum FailureCategory { LockContention, OwnershipConflict, Verification, Filesystem, InvalidInput, Injected, PostCommitCheck, }
Expand description

A stable machine-readable failure category.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

LockContention

Another transaction or ambiguous lock owns the domain.

§

OwnershipConflict

A destination is foreign, unknown, or violates containment/parent rules.

§

Verification

Staged bytes changed, are unreadable, or lack required integrity evidence.

§

Filesystem

A live filesystem mutation failed.

§

InvalidInput

Caller input or transaction configuration is invalid.

§

Injected

The failure was injected by the test fault harness.

§

PostCommitCheck

A caller-supplied post-commit check failed or panicked.
