pub enum RejectionRegion {
DoubleTail,
Deviance,
SmallP,
}Expand description
Which set of outcomes counts as “at least as extreme as observed”.
All three condition on the total count and sum NB mass over a region. With
equal group sizes the regions coincide and, as in edgeR,
RejectionRegion::Deviance and RejectionRegion::SmallP go straight to
the double-tail test.
Variants§
DoubleTail
Double the smaller tail. edgeR’s default, and the only region with the large-count beta approximation.
Deviance
Every split whose negative binomial deviance is at least the observed one.
SmallP
Every split no more probable than the observed one.
