pub struct ComponentMetadata {
pub var_count: usize,
pub eq_count: usize,
pub species_count: usize,
}Expand description
Summary counts a component node carries (esm-libraries-spec §4.8.1).
A model reports its declared variables and its equations; a reaction system
reports its reactions as eq_count, its species as species_count, and its
PARAMETERS as var_count — the schema forbids a variables field there and
species_count already carries the species, so parameters is the only
thing left for §4.8.1’s “variable count” to mean, and it is the exact
analogue of a model’s variables (which likewise counts unknowns and
parameters together). Subsystems contribute NOTHING — the counts describe
the component’s own body, matching the reference implementation.
Fields§
§var_count: usizeDeclared variables (models only)
eq_count: usizeEquations (models) or reactions (reaction systems)
species_count: usizeDeclared species (reaction systems only)
