InvalidArgument
The request contains invalid input (e.g., prompt exceeds context length).
CannotConnect
Failed to establish a connection to a remote worker.
Disconnected
An established connection was lost unexpectedly.
ConnectionTimeout
A connection or request timed out.
ResponseTimeout
The backend accepted the request but stopped responding (stream inactivity timeout).
Cancelled
The request was cancelled (e.g., client disconnected).
ResourceExhausted
The capacity constraint cannot be relieved by selecting another worker. This most commonly means the whole eligible worker pool is exhausted.
WorkerOverloaded
One selected worker is out of capacity while others may still have room.
Distinct from Self::ResourceExhausted so a request whose routing
constraints permit reassignment can migrate; both surface as HTTP 529.
No backend worker is currently available to handle the request.
One addressed worker answered that it does not serve this request’s
endpoint instance (stale discovery or a worker shutting down) while
other workers may. Distinct from Self::Unavailable so the request
can migrate; both surface as HTTP 503.
Backend(BackendError)
Error originating from a backend engine.
InvalidRequest
The client request is malformed or fails request-level validation.
Unauthenticated
Authentication credentials are missing or invalid.
PermissionDenied
The authenticated caller is not permitted to perform the operation.
NotFound
The requested resource does not exist.
Conflict
The request conflicts with current resource state.
PayloadTooLarge
The request body exceeds a configured size limit.
UnsupportedMedia
The request uses an unsupported media type.
RateLimited
The caller exceeded an admission or request-rate limit.
CapacityExhausted
The eligible worker pool has no capacity.
BackendProtocol
A backend response violates the expected protocol.
DeadlineExceeded
The operation exceeded its deadline.
NotImplemented
The requested operation is not implemented.
Internal
An internal defect or unclassified failure occurred.
Unknown
Uncategorized or unknown error.
Implementations§
Source§impl ErrorClass
impl ErrorClass
Sourcepub fn as_str(self) -> &'static str
pub fn as_str(self) -> &'static str
Return the canonical semantic class for a legacy or backend-specific variant.
Sourcepub fn normalized(self) -> Self
pub fn normalized(self) -> Self
Map a legacy or backend-specific variant to its canonical semantic class.
New producers should construct canonical classes directly. DynamoError::class applies this mapping after validating the class/reason identity and is the normal consumer entry point. Serialization also emits that validated canonical class, while retaining a compatible legacy representation during the migration window.

Source§fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
fn fg(&self, value: Color) -> Painted<&T>
Returns a styled value derived from self with the foreground set to
value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like red() and
green(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Set foreground color to white using fg():
use yansi::{Paint, Color};
painted.fg(Color::White);Set foreground color to white using white().

Returns a styled value derived from self with the background set to

This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use color-specific
builder methods like on_red() and
on_green(), which have the same functionality but
are pithier.
§Example
Set background color to red using fg():
use yansi::{Paint, Color};

Source§fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
fn attr(&self, value: Attribute) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the styling Attribute value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use
attribute-specific builder methods like bold() and
underline(), which have the same functionality
but are pithier.
§Example
Make text bold using attr():
use yansi::{Paint, Attribute};
painted.attr(Attribute::Bold);Make text bold using using bold().

fn rapid_blink(&self) -> Painted<&T>
Source§fn quirk(&self, value: Quirk) -> Painted<&T>
fn quirk(&self, value: Quirk) -> Painted<&T>
Enables the yansi Quirk value.
This method should be used rarely. Instead, prefer to use quirk-specific
builder methods like mask() and
wrap(), which have the same functionality but are
pithier.
§Example
Enable wrapping using .quirk():
use yansi::{Paint, Quirk};
painted.quirk(Quirk::Wrap);Enable wrapping using wrap().
use yansi::Paint;
painted.wrap();Source§fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
👎Deprecated since 1.0.1: renamed to resetting() due to conflicts with Vec::clear().
The clear() method will be removed in a future release.
fn clear(&self) -> Painted<&T>
renamed to resetting() due to conflicts with Vec::clear().
The clear() method will be removed in a future release.
Source§fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
fn whenever(&self, value: Condition) -> Painted<&T>
Conditionally enable styling based on whether the Condition value
applies. Replaces any previous condition.
See the crate level docs for more details.
§Example
Enable styling painted only when both stdout and stderr are TTYs:
use yansi::{Paint, Condition};
painted.red().on_yellow().whenever(Condition::STDOUTERR_ARE_TTY);
